The
Studio Product Photography Workshop
is perfect for
those interested in
learning basic
studio product photography. Our day
will be divided into two parts: the classroom and the 'hands
on'. We will
begin the
 day in the
studio classroom where we will demonstrate the equipment: strobe
lights and all the accessories
used for
product photography. We'll discuss the basics of lighting and light quality
and you will
learn the difference between
using umbrellas and light boxes, key
light and fill lights, light grids and barn doors,
and background
lights. We will also look at the various types of
products you may shoot from packaging to metal and glass,
tabletops and larger products. During the 'hands on' part
of the workshop, you will be provided all the lights and
accessories to setup your own studio set up and practice what
you have learned. These workshops include all equipment for the
workshop: lights, umbrellas and light boxes, booms, light
stands, grids, and table top setups and backgrounds.

How the equipment works; monolights and power
packs, umbrellas and light boxes, light quality, soft light vs
hard light, creating the
perfect highlight, managing the shadows, selective lighting,
light direction, Angle of Incidence, and more.
The One-on-One
workshop is designed for a single person seeking intensive
instruction and personal attention. The Custom Studio Product
Photography workshop is for small groups up to 4 people that are
arranged by you and your group. These
workshops are available in Bend, Oregon or at your studio or
your companies in-house studios anywhere in the U.S. The
workshop can also be customized and include more days and
subjects to meet your specific needs.
One-on-One Workshop in Bend, Oregon $695 per day. Other locations: $695 per day plus travel
time/expenses.
Custom
Lighting
Workshop 2-3 persons (your group) in Bend, Oregon $500 per day/person.
Other locations, prices are the same plus travel
time/expenses.
 You may
combine the Studio Portrait and Studio Product into a two day
workshop. One-on-One is $1200 for the 2 days and the Custom
Workshop for small groups is $850 for the two days. Other
locations are the same rates plus travel time/expenses.
