Aspen Photo Workshops offers the following one day and weekend
workshops covering a wide range of subjects from Basic Digital
Photography, Flash Photography, Portrait Photography, and
Lightroom and Photoshop workshops.
Photoshop Basics: An Introduction
to Photo Editing
Creating beautiful photographs is fun, but like the old days of
using film and processing it at the camera store, digital image
files also need to be ‘processed’ to become great photographs.
In this one
day workshop, Photoshop Basics, you will learn how to open your
digital image files and take them from a dull RAW or JPEG file
to a stunning colorful photograph. You will learn the Photoshop
workspace, Adobe Bridge, and correcting the images tone, color,
and contrast. You will also learn retouching, simple
selections, layer basics, masking and compositing, and more.
At days end,
you will have a good understanding of how to use Photoshop to
make your images look great. We recommend you bring your laptop
and have Photoshop installed for this program.
Do you have to
own Photoshop to take this course? NO! Upon registration we will
show you how you can get Photoshop to use during this one-day
course. If you do not have a laptop you can still attend simply
to learn.
