Lightroom and Photoshop workshops.
Introduction to Studio
Like so many other photographers, maybe you too have dreamed
of one day opening your own portrait studio or simply
photographing family and friends. The need for portrait
photography is everywhere, from business people, to families,
children, couples, and single adults.
Whether or not you want to make money in professional
photography, having your own studio is often a must, but what
good is having a studio unless you know how to use it? Maybe you
have lighting equipment and are unsure how it all works.
Portrait photography is simply fun but is also big business
and great lighting is not just a simple matter of setting up a
light or two and shooting a portrait. As every successful studio
portrait photographer will tell you, you must really understand
lighting and all of its unique characteristics and variables if
you want to shoot great portraits!
The Introduction to Studio Portraiture one day workshops is
designed for photographers with no experience. Whether you are a
beginning photographer or you have already experienced the
frustration of not really knowing how to make those lights work,
then this workshop is a must for you.
You will leave with a clear understanding of how the lights
work, which light modifier is best for the light quality you
seek, how to shape your subject with light, and a whole lot more
making the jump from lighting novice to experienced lighting
All lighting demonstrations will be done with a model and then
you will have the chance to take a few portraits using your own
